Slow Cooker Spicy Pinto Beans

  • 250g linguine pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Medjool dates, pitted

  • 1/2 cup of almonds

  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 2 tablespoons of raw cacao powder

  • 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder

  • A pinch of sea salt

  • 1/4 cup of almond butter

  • 1/4 cup of coconut oil, melted

  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of vegan bread

  • 1 cup of vegan shredded chick'n such as soy curls or seitan

  • 1/4 cup of vegan buffalo sauce

  • 1/2 cup of vegan shredded cheese

  • 2 tbsp of vegan butter or margarine

  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped celery

  • 1/4 cup of vegan ranch dressing

Instructions:

Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat


In a bowl, toss the vegan shredded chick'n with the buffalo sauce until well coated


Spread vegan butter on one side of each slice of bread


Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, on the skillet or grill pan


Layer with vegan shredded cheese, buffalo chick'n, chopped celery, and vegan ranch dressing


Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up


Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted


Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make additional sandwiches


Serve hot, optionally with extra buffalo sauce for dipping, and enjoy!

These Parmesan crisps don't contain gluten and are a tasty snack for people who can't have gluten. It doesn't take long to make these tasty crisps because they only need a few things.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F 190C


Line a baking sheet with parchment paper


In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder


Spoon tablespoon-sized portions of the cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart


Flatten each mound of cheese slightly with the back of a spoon


Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the crisps are firm and crispy


Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely

Instructions:

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic

Roll each portion into a rope and shape into a heart, pinching the ends together


Preheat your oven to 425F 220C


In a large pot, bring water to a boil


Stir in baking soda

Hostess Cupcake Cookies

A delightful homemade version of the classic Hostess cupcake in the form of soft and chewy cookies. These cookies feature a chocolatey exterior with a marshmallow-fluff filling and a sweet glaze drizzle on top.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup buttermilk

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup marshmallow fluff

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets


Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl with a whisk


Also in a big bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together until they are light and fluffy


Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well


Add the dry ingredients slowly while mixing in the buttermilk every so often until everything is just combined


Add small chocolate chips and mix well


Place spoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart on the baking sheets that have been prepared


Put the cookies in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are set


They should cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before being moved to a wire rack to cool all the way


After the cookies have cooled, put marshmallow fluff on the flat side of half of them and then put the other half of the cookies in between them


To make the glaze, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl with a whisk


On top of the cookies that are sandwiched, drizzle the glaze


Wait for the glaze to set up before you serve
